Responsible sourcing policy

Grading criteria are explained to the seller before purchase. Deductions, where applied, are explained rather than imposed silently.

We settle on the terms agreed, and we aim to be a predictable buyer across seasons rather than an opportunistic one.

We buy only from suppliers who can identify the origin of the goods they sell us, and we expect compliance with Thai law on agricultural production, land use and labour.

We do not knowingly purchase goods produced through forced or child labour, and we will end a supply relationship where we find evidence of it.

We prioritise practices that reduce post-harvest loss — timely collection, correct drying and appropriate storage — because waste after harvest is the largest avoidable loss in the chain.

We expect suppliers to comply with applicable environmental regulation, including rules on agricultural burning and waste handling.

We do not describe products as organic or certified unless certification exists for that specific product and lot. Where a buyer requires audit evidence, we state plainly what is and is not available.
