We would rather state a few specific practices we control than publish broad claims we cannot evidence.
Our position
Four areas where our decisions matter
Agricultural trade sits between the land and the market. Our influence is real but bounded — these are the places it applies.
Fair dealing with growers
A grower who is paid promptly and graded honestly comes back next season. We agree grading criteria before purchase, explain deductions when they apply, and settle on the terms stated.
Reducing post-harvest loss
Most agricultural waste happens after harvest — poor drying, poor storage, delayed collection. Timely collection, correct drying and appropriate storage are the practical levers we control.
Animal welfare
Where we trade live animals, handling, space, feed, water and transport time are the welfare factors that matter. We work with partners who meet the requirements that apply to animal movement.
Regulatory compliance
We operate within Thai law on agricultural trade, food safety, animal movement and environmental protection, and within the import requirements of the markets we ship to.
Communities
Our business depends on farms staying viable
Central Thailand's agricultural economy is made up of smallholdings and family operations. If those operations cannot make a living, our supply base erodes — so supporting them is not philanthropy, it is procurement strategy.
In practice that means predictable purchasing rather than opportunistic buying, clear grading standards communicated in advance, and prompt settlement.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim organic status for products that are not certified organic.
- We do not publish carbon figures we have not measured.
- We do not describe our supply base as fully certified when certification varies by partner and product.
If your procurement policy requires specific certification or audit evidence, ask us at enquiry stage and we will tell you plainly what is available for that product.
